Auditions are closed for the 2026-2027 Season. Please check back in late August for next year's auditions.

Who can audition?  Any interested student (6th-8th grade) registered in a chorus class.

Max Number of Singers:  Depends on several factors but generally around 40 singers are invited to join. Voicing:  Depending on how many singers of each voice part successfully audition, Varsity Choir may be a mixed choir (SAB) or a treble choir (SSA).

What is the audition? There are 4 components to the Varsity Choir audition: warm-up, pitch matching, prepared piece, and sightsinging. The 4th element (sightsinging) is a skill that is particularly challenging and may be unfamiliar to incoming 6th graders. You will need to practice at home in order to be successful. See below for the link to practice materials on Google Drive.

What should I bring to my audition? Yourself and your completed audition form (see below)

Regular Rehearsal Schedule:  Mondays, 4:00pm-6:00pm (Some Fridays). Attendance at rehearsals is mandatory! Please consider the full rehearsal schedule when deciding whether or not to audition: 2026-2027 Varsity Choir Schedule
